Launched in June 2006, Curves Christchurch used a number of various publications over a 6 month period to market into the Christchurch community. The Christchurch Directory was particularly successful in raising Curves profile which could be measured by the high number of members joining who specifically referred to The Directory. As a result, this publication will remain a regular beneficiary of Curves Christchurch’s advertising budget in 2007.”
I congratulate you on the design, layout and handy size of your publication. The Christchurch Directory is a very professional and eye-catching magazine. I have had many phone calls and new clients since my advert commenced a few months ago. It has brought more interest than any other ads I have placed over the years. You are most accommodating when changes need to be made – greatly appreciated. It must be extremely satisfying knowing the directory has grown tremendously popular and distribution numbers have soared, with more areas requesting copies. Best wishes for your continued success. ”
Frettens advertise with several local and regional publications and we find that The Christchurch Directory is one of the best for building our profile within our local community and in generating leads, as people tend to keep the directory for the whole month and refer to it when they need to. It is easy to place an advert because the staff are straightforward and friendly.”
Advertising with The Christchurch Directory has proved very successful and we have had a lot of positive feedback from our customers. Nicky’s advice has been invaluable and we have been very impressed with the final product. Not only a personal, efficient service but at competitive prices too.”
The Christchurch Directory is a very appealing magazine and we have been very impressed with it. It is a good size, always has a bright and interesting cover and is well put together. It is the only paid advertising that we do and we have had a good response from our advert. What a great idea for the local area!”
The magazine is informative and bright, with an excellent presentation which ensures that it is kept for future reference instead of going into waste bins!”
I am writing to express how impressed I am by your help and advice I have received since advertising in The Directory. We have received several enquiries and new clients, so have been more than satisfied with the response. The recent editorial done in the Christmas edition was excellent. Both my husband and I were very pleased with it. I have already recommended you to a couple of my friends who have also started to advertise with you and would happily recommend you to any further contacts I encounter should they require advertising.
Just a little note to say how much we value your magazine. Since advertising in The Directory I have benefited from the increased customer base within the local area. I have found that local people have been keen to support me as a small business located in the village. I feel that the community itself benefits from the availability of this trade magazine and the service it provides.
We have had far more response from The West Moors Directory than from any other form of advertising. Smart thinking! Keep up the good work.
I am a keen business person and have built up a very good business with a large customer base. I am always aware of advertising costs and the return that I get from them. For my business the smaller local based magazines are by far the best. You are hopefully perceived as being reliable and trustworthy and your name is then passed onto neighbours and friends within the community.
I was approached by Debbie Corney of The Directory in a friendly, helpful and non-invasive manner to advertise. She was extremely helpful and I decided to do a feature on my business. It was extremely successful and I have received approximately twenty jobs through it. Most of the customers had The Directory close to hand for reference. It is a well produced book with interesting articles in it, which entice people to actually read it as opposed to discarding it on receipt.
I will continue to advertise in this magazine, I think that the idea of a feature to get recognised is a good idea, with “follow up” adverts to keep your business in mind.
I would like to thank Debbie for her efficiency, friendliness and efforts for establishing me in West Moors.
70% of my business comes from your publications. And it is all local!
Don’t take me out! I couldn’t live without it!
